Many of you still use word processors or spreadsheets like MS Excel, Open Office or Lotus 123 to manage your bookkeeping needs. As you no doubt have discovered - these solutions just do not work. You need more, and your business requires more appropriate solutions and management tools. We can help.
We will come in and discretely review your needs with you and help you to make the choices and selections that are right for your company. Next, we will work with you to set the system up and get it running for you. We have done this dozens of times for many different and varied business types. We are well versed in the product offerings available in today's market and can assist you in clearing the most major of hurtles - choosing the right bookkeeping tool for your business!
We will then work side by side with you so that you can see and learn how the system is setup and used. Today's systems are designed with the layperson in mind, understanding that you are not accountants - you are business people whose focus is your business! Generally, you have no desire to become an accountant. What you need is a system that is easy to purchase, deploy and use. That is what we do. We deliver these solutions to you, hold your hand for as long as you need, and then leave you to run your business. Keep in mind though that we are always at the other end of the phone when and if you need us again.
And cost - how much does all this cost? Less that you might imagine. Our billing rates for these services are modest: system setup is $39 per hour and data entry is just $29 per hour. A typical system setup is roughly 16 hours. Data entry costs vary, but generally, we can show you how to enter your own data after just 5 or so hours of hand holding - then let you do the rest. We would then come back to visit after your data entry was complete and review your system with you. This review is billed at the system setup rate of $39 per hour and usually takes in the range of 5 hours. So, all totaled - you can generally get your accounting system up and running for under $1000. Now certainly all business are different and these costs could vary. But these estimates are based on our experience. Your actual costs could be higher or lower - depending on your needs and how organized your current records are.
